Pat Anderson, Literacy for Life Foundation board member, has been named the recipient of the NAIDOC Lifetime Achievement Award 2018.

“I am so proud, and so humbled, and so pleased that my own mob have acknowledged a lifetime of commitment and service and respect, to who it is to be an Aboriginal person in this country today. Thank you,” said Pat Anderson at the awards ceremony last night.

Pat has devoted her life to improving the lot of others, working as a tireless advocate. Her achievements are written into the lives of the many thousands of people her efforts have helped. And she still fights on – we are so glad to have you by our side Pat.
