National Reconciliation Week takes place every year between May 27 and June 3.
These dates commemorate two important events in the journey of reconciliation: the 1967 referendum and the High Court’s Mabo decision.
It’s a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories and the roles we can play to achieve reconciliation.
The Reconciliation Australia website has lots of information on how you can get involved in online and in-person events in support of reconciliation.
There are also a number of different ways you can support Literacy for Life Foundation. We are an Aboriginal charity training local people to bring literacy to their communities.
