National Reconciliation Week is 27 May – 3 June.
This year’s theme ‘Bridging Now to Next’ encourages all Australians to continue to work together while being guided by the lessons of the past.
The Reconciliation Australia website has lots of information on how you can get involved in online and in-person events in support of reconciliation.
There are also a number of different ways you can support Literacy for Life Foundation. We are an Aboriginal charity training local people to bring literacy to their communities.
If you would like to support our community-led literacy Campaigns please consider:
- Making a monthly or one-off donation
- Signing up to receive email updates on our literacy Campaigns
- Following us on Facebook, Instagram or Linkedin
- Taking an in-depth look at our work by exploring this comprehensive list of relevant research
- Watching and sharing this beautiful documentary on our work: In My Own Words
- Finding out more about what we do via our media coverage – including:
- This brilliant ABC interview with our Executive Director, Ngemba man, Professor Jack Beetson
- Jack Beetson was also profiled in an episode of Compass
This year’s theme is an invitation to all Australians to join together in Bridging Now to Next – building a more united and respectful nation.
